Convert an OPC
When must an OPC convert, and when may it?
The short answer
INC-6. Voluntary conversion needs the special resolution and whatever waiting period the current rule imposes. Compulsory conversion runs from the ceiling in Rule 6. Read the rule. Do not use an old ₹50 lakh or ₹2 crore figure.
An OPC. The compulsory trigger is Rule 6. The rupee ceiling is not printed, because that rule has moved.
Not yet verified against the latest textAct-sourced — Section 18 and Rule 6. The ceiling is not verified on this desk.
